You will assist patent attorneys with patent application matters, including drafting and translating technical descriptions of inventions and supporting application procedures.
Career development
You will receive training from experienced patent professionals and develop the technical and practical skills needed for a career in patent practice. Qualification as a patent agent is required for independent patent agency practice.
Requirements
- A master’s degree or higher in a relevant technical discipline
- Excellent reading and writing skills in English or Japanese, with good spoken communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- A diligent and responsible approach to work
