When to request PPH participation before SIPO

Answer:

The applicant may submit a PPH request either: (1) at the same time as a request for substantive examination, if the Chinese application has already been published; or (2) after receipt of the Notice of Entry into Substantive Examination and before receipt of any office action issued by SIPO’s substantive examination department.
