The three figures show first-instance IP cases accepted and concluded by Chinese courts from 2008 to 2013, and concluded cases involving foreign parties from 2010 to 2013.
Concluded first-instance IP cases involving foreign parties generally increased. In particular, foreign-related administrative cases accounted for a substantial share: 1,143 were concluded in 2013, representing 39.4% of all first-instance IP administrative cases concluded that year.
The data come from the Supreme People's Court's annual reports on judicial protection of intellectual property in China for 2008–2013.
