Must Chinese patent annuities be paid one year at a time, or can several years—for example, five—be paid together?

In China, two years of annuities can be paid in a single payment. In practice, a patent owner wishing to pay more than two years must make several payments.

For example, to pay five years of annuities, the owner may pay for years 1 and 2 on the first day, years 3 and 4 on the following day, and year 5 on the third day.
