Answer:

Previously, an opinion in Box VIII of the international work product relied on for the request made the application ineligible for PCT-PPH accelerated examination.

From July 1, 2017, however, a request may be filed with SIPO if: (1) the opinion does not concern claims corresponding to those of the Chinese application for which PPH is requested; or (2) it concerns defects only in the description or drawings.
